Conversation was the third project in my FAD. On the day of submission, with support from my friends and tutors, I made a video call from home. The receiver of the call was an iPad placed in advance at our studio, in front of my class members.
In the 12-min performance,
I read the Irish tale of Tuan mac Cairill, who went through several animal transformations throughout his life.
The projection on the wall behind the screen was a video, incorporated with an indiscernible voice of my mother, reading a story she created for me in my childhood.
Conversation was a response to the unit theme Carpet of Memories.
